July 13, 2024 Write the Book!

In May, I went more than a little ballistic about all those physicists ignoring me, and began writing my book, “Extraordinary Events: The True Story of My Contact with Interdimensional Beings.”
Increasingly, the book has taken over my life. Every waking hour, even into twilight sleep, I think about what needs to be said, and sit at the computer for hours at a time. I’ll get up from watching Korean TV - even that twilight sleep - to work on it.
I’m also hunting for a freelance physicist, sorely needed for this work. The only one not from Pakistan is Canadian, and looks like a dick. I can just see him rolling his eyes.
And I spend time trying to sort out how to publish this book.
This will be the only book I will ever write; self-publishing works well for a one-time book. Then it gets beyond confusing.
Lots of sites on-line: self-publishing services, so-called hybrid publishers, vanity presses, and some that offer pathways to the big publishing houses. Those last are truly beyond the reach of anyone but the 1%.
There are sites and articles that warn of vanity presses. Most of those are truly for the sake of one’s vanity.
Then there are small publishing houses. I submitted a query to one, just to test the waters:
Dear _______________
I am in the process of writing the above referenced. The target market for this book would be those interested in UFOs and other unusual phenomena, as well as science buffs.
I am a credible person. I am a retired attorney living in the country in Illinois. I practiced law as in-house counsel at Heller Financial and GE Finance, and was General Counsel at a subsidiary of Transamerica.
The book is the story of:
1. My interactions with a family of interdimensional beings, comprised of two parents, an assistant, and nine offspring, who came to my secluded farm from March 10th through March 16th 2024. I was laughed at by the kids, and one parent accosted me when I got too close.
2. My interactions with others of their kind during the 36 days I was monitored by them.
3. A large sphere which arrived and cut a huge rectangular hole into the sky, beyond which there was only gray, while the sky was a medium-dark blue.
The interdimensional hypothesis to explain UFOs dates back to the 1970s, where notable men in the field of ufology put forward this theory:
The interdimensional hypothesis is a proposal that UFO sightings are the result of experiencing other "dimensions" that coexist separately alongside our own in contrast with the extraterrestrial hypothesis that suggests UFO sightings are caused by visitations from outside the Earth.
The subject of multiple dimensions has so far been published only as scientific theory, not fact. This book will make a persuasive argument that now, it is a fact. If accepted, there would be a paradigm shift in the current theories of the structure of our universe. It would particularly impact M-Theory.
I am hiring a freelance physicist to provide guidance on M-Theory and how it would be impacted by the existence of these beings, to calculate the rate of speed of the parent who accosted me, and for a scientific description of the size and distance of the rectangular hole.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. I hope to hear from you.
Sincerely,
I suppose saying, “I am a credible person” doesn’t show up in a lot of queries, eh?
This house won’t get back to me for three months. Wouldn’t it be great if I could be done by then?
It’s frankly exhausting.
BTW, I know it’s too early in the process to worry about publication, but I feel it essential to get a grasp on everything. There is so much I need! Illustrators, tech guys to cut photos out of videos, and a lot of editing and format help.
I’ve actually day-dreamed about the cover. An illustration of when they were both discs facing me would be cool. Maybe that rectangular hole could go on the back cover. In the door way, I’d like to have one of the following epigraphs:
“For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.”
― Carl Sagan
“People who believe they are ignorant of nothing have neither looked for, nor stumbled upon, the boundary between what is known and unknown in the universe.” ― Neil deGrasse Tyson
If I was a more profound writer, I’d make some pithy remark or wise comment that could be used. That’s not me, though. I’m just matter-of-fact.
I need this book to be engaging, and persuasive of my position. My writing can’t cut it. I’m hoping whichever physicist I hire will be persuasive for me. As for engaging…

July 8th was the last time anyone was here. On the 12th , the farm felt truly empty.
They won’t be back, and am sad.
