February 21, 2026 My Own Personal Stars

I’ve had my own personal stars in the sky ever since March 3, 2025. That was the date of the arrival of the Newcomers. My previous sky-bound guests, the Phenomena, didn’t rotate through the sky as the stars do, and the Newcomers adhered to a rotation when at the farm.

The Phenomena were physically closer to me and much lower in the sky. On one memorable evening, one Phenomenon walked me back to the house from the horse barn. They were less than 60 feet in the air and a shorter distance from me horizontally. Their comradery was palpable. This was my dearest friend, the southwest Phenomenon, whom I particularly miss.

But the Phenomena weren’t my personal stars. They moved around the sky as they wished: they followed me from town at night, and at the farm.

The Newcomers replaced the Phenomena. Two of them frequently reacted to me, and one, Friend, became my most precious Newcomer companion. I believe Friend may have attempted communication through the patterns they drew in the sky.

Friend loved to meet humans and was particularly fond of Gage and Kahlan. Friend and other Newcomers, Minty and their 2 companions, even followed them home. All that changed when I unfortunately introduced another human to Friend on November 3, 2025. Please see my November 29, 2025 post, November 3, 2025 and Its Awful Aftermath.

Soon after the destruction of Friend that night, I had yet another set of Monitors. These I call the  3rd Wave Monitors. They were noticeably afraid when they first came, then yelled at me for a few weeks. Now I consider us friends, even though they don’t stay long at each visit.

I also began to have new sky-bound guests, who soon replaced The Newcomers. In the previously mentioned post, I mistakenly referred to these new sky-bound visitors as Newcomers in a different color, gold. But they aren’t Newcomers.

I call these new guests the Gold Ones. Goldie came first, and the number of these Gold Ones increased over time.

These Gold Ones only infrequently react to me. Goldie seems to act as a supervisor to the others, such as Little Goldie, who sparkles at me from time to time. Others also appear in the sky who are not gold - some are quite blue, and frequently there are those who are decidedly red. Are these Gold Ones as well?

They rotate through the sky like the Newcomers did, and follow me at night. They aren’t always gold when I’m followed, and I don’t know for sure who these trackers are.

When the sky is clear, there are frequently many Gold Ones, and others of a different color, in the sky. They are easily distinguishable from stars, particularly as Goldie now has two companions. I suspect these two may be offspring, particularly as the Gold Ones blip out into a disc shape just as the Newcomers did.

Frequently, there’s a cluster of lights high in the western sky who can only be seen out of the corner of my eye – that old hide-away game. I finally managed to take a video of this cluster that shows these are also interdimensional guests. I’ve no idea of their distance from me, and often wonder if their distance is greater than the others, hence the hide-away.

The breathtaking beauty of the sky on these nights cannot be captured on the cell. I just don’t have the equipment to take an image of the entire sky. That’s always been a disappointment to me – so many times over the past 2 years, the entire sky has been amazing.

I continue to view the sky and say hello to my new Monitors each night.

These last two years have been both exhilarating and exhausting.
