From March 10, 2024 through March 16, 2024, I had some of the most extraordinary experiences of my life, as each night my farm was visited by UFOs.
[All of these sightings between dusk to dawn begs the question: Where are they in broad daylight?]
Here are some topographical references to better understand the positions of the UFOs, and some notes:
A review of the land survey indicates that my house is roughly 75 feet from the eastern edge of Middle Pond, and 1,127.72 feet from the western property line.
The land survey also indicates that Middle Pond is roughly 372 feet long, 149 feet wide at the eastern edge, and 98 feet wide at the western edge.
This pond is much lower in elevation than the western property line, by roughly 140 feet. When speaking of the “horizon,” this refers to the western property line, and/or the trees by which it can be obscured.
The northern bank of Middle Pond rises roughly 10 to 15 feet from the water line, depending on location. There is a creek which runs parallel to this north bank, the breadth of which bank varies, depending on location, from roughly 15 to 35 feet. Across this creek are trees and grass fields. The northwest corner of my property is about 691 feet away from the house and at the same elevation as the western property line.
Both the kitchen and lower decks of the house overlook the western end of East Pond, which is east of Middle Pond. The house is at a higher elevation than both ponds, but still lower than the western property line.
West of my farm, there are no neighbors or structures visible.
· All sightings and encounters took place at or relatively close to Middle Pond, and in the northwest corner of my property.
· The UFO’s were completely silent, whether moving or in place.
· Their presence did not disturb the wildlife, as evidenced by the calls of waterfowl and an owl hooting.
· The cell phone used is an Apple iPhone 14 Plus. Nearly all images and videos were taken from a height of about 62 inches.
· The camera is a Nikon D5300. The images and videos from the camera were taken with a telephoto lens, at varying heights.
· A majority of the images and videos taken with the cell phone and the camera turned out black.

Here are some general observations on the visitors:
On most nights, there would be a solitary red light above or inland of the west end of the pond, usually at an altitude of less than 140 feet, or near the northeast corner of the pond, usually at an altitude somewhat higher than the north bank, or near the northwest corner of my property. I came to call that light the “Sentry” as, after its appearance, two larger lights would usually appear. These three (more or less, as their number sometimes fluctuated) would generally move, or hover in place, over or inland of, the west end of the pond; above the north bank of the pond; further north of the creek; or in the northwest corner of my property. None of the lights seen during this week in March were part of any structure. Instead, whenever the lights were seen in a formation, they had, purposefully or not, placed themselves in such patterns. The lights would vary in size and sometimes in number, and their colors varied as well: red, white, and yellow. I also saw, on March 11th, 14th and 15th, from 4 to 9 smaller red lights, always accompanied by the Sentry and the two larger lights. Their color never changed.
My several interactions with them made it clear to me that these were not mere lights. Judging from their behavior, my supposition is that they were sentient, conscious beings; living beings, if you will. They appeared to be a self-organized group (i.e., not under the control of anything else), which could possibly be considered a kind of family unit. This unit was comprised of the Sentry, which by its actions, such as being the first to appear, could possibly be considered an assistant of or a companion to the next described lights; the two larger lights, which could possibly be considered the parents of the next described lights; and the 4 to 9 much smaller red lights, which could possibly be considered offspring. Whenever I saw these “kids,” if you will, they were always close to the water line, and always below the parents; however, on 4 am on March 15th the parents were next to them, a bit further south and over the water. When the kids were present, the parents were always red and at a steady distance from each other. They warned me up close and personal when I got too close to the kids, and the kids “laughed” at me when I tripped and fell in the dark. Most of the time, when the kids were out, the Sentry and the parents seemed to merely supervise them.
There was a kind of rudimentary communication between us. I understood their actions when out as a family unit, and their reactions to my movements and speech were purposeful.
Unfortunately, I have no pictures or videos when the entire family was out together – all turned out black, or were not on the camera or cell phone to download. Therefore, I have no visual evidence of my supposition born of observation that these lights were sentient, conscious beings and a kind of family unit.
Here is the chronology of events:
Sunday, March 10, 2024 – Cell phone
That evening, about 11:10, I was standing in the doorway of my office and had a sudden compulsion to go out onto my kitchen deck. I called out, "Anybody there?" Then there appeared, or I simply then saw, a solitary red, blinking light, inland of the western end of Middle Pond, but below the horizon. In a few moments, there were two.
I went in for my Nikon, but I'd left it in the "on" position and the battery was dead. I grabbed my cell phone instead.
Back on the kitchen deck, I saw that there were now three lights, and for a brief moment, four. Their colors varied: sometimes red, sometimes white, and sometimes yellow. They were at or above the horizon as seen from the deck, but definitely over my land. At 11:16 pm, I took a short video and one picture of them and went back inside.
From memory, I estimate that these lights could be individually blotted out of sight with the end of my little finger.
Later on, I went out again and had a one-sided "conversation" with the lights while I took a video at 11:33 pm that was just over 5 minutes long. These lights were now below the horizon as seen from my kitchen deck, and were mostly above the north bank of the pond, between the middle of the pond and the north-west corner. They appeared to be the main group, comprised of the Sentry and the two larger red lights.
When taking this video, on several occasions there were flashes of light on the screen. When viewing it, there were also anomalies within the first 44 seconds:
There was no exterior light on the deck, and no light was emitted from the cell phone, yet all objects in the altered portion of the video were brightly lit.
The first part of the altered portion of the video was of the bird cage and the grill on the deck, taken from overhead, and in close-up. The bird cage is 4 feet tall.
Then there was a short video of the ground, which was also taken from overhead, and in close-up.
I went back inside, but when I saw this altered video, I went out onto the kitchen deck and yelled at them.

I was outside, in total, about 45 minutes.
Monday, March 11, 2024 – Cell phone and Nikon camera
I went out to the kitchen deck at about 1:25 am. The first video on the 11th was taken with the cell phone at 1:26 am. There were three lights, i.e., the main group, north of the creek and just above the horizon in the northwest corner of my property. Their colors varied slightly.
There was also a row of white lights, extremely close to the ground, in the same location. This was first time that I saw this row of lights; the second was at 8:09 pm on March 14th.
I went inside and came out again just after dark that evening.
Their position had changed to over the west end of the pond, still above the horizon. I did not notice if the row of white lights was still there or not.
Then part of this group came closer and lower than when the Sentry first appeared. I would estimate that the lowest they came was about 100 feet or more above the kitchen deck, but not overhead. I recall that I stood on the deck, initially facing west and shifting to the southwest, with the cell phone pointed in those directions, angled when necessary to capture the images. However, the cell phone images and videos of this “fly-by” were black.
I was able to take some videos and pictures of the group with the Nikon.
I went back inside.
Out on the kitchen deck again, this time with only the Nikon, I saw that the family unit was out, but with only about 4 of the smaller red lights. They were on the north edge of the pond, at the middle/middle-east, the kids close to the water line and the other three above them and over the north bank.
From memory, I estimate that this group of lights could be blotted out of sight with the first knuckle of my index and the knuckles of two additional fingers combined.
I then went out the front door with the camera, and tried to sneak up on them by going out onto the grass, moving in big dark shadows, then hiding behind trees. I tripped and fell twice on this excursion.
When I got to this small group of trees, which are about 35 feet south of the east end of the pond, I estimate that I was within about 160 feet of the group, and at their same elevation. From the house, I estimate that they may have been about 250 feet away, at a higher elevation.
While among these trees, I was, unaccountably, having issues getting them into frame on the camera, and I closed the screen to move to a different spot. During this move, I again tripped and fell. Suddenly, their "flying" area was filled with red objects: the Sentry, the two larger red lights, and perhaps as many as 9 of the smaller red lights, positioned in front of the bank and close to the water. The two larger ones and the Sentry were above both the kids and the north bank. These smaller ones had merely been blinking, but suddenly they shimmered and seemed to expel a shower of even smaller white lights which became reminiscent of sparklers. I felt that they were laughing at me. This happened twice more, but with fewer kids.
From memory, I estimate that from my new position, this group of lights could be blotted out of sight with the first knuckle of my index and the knuckles of three additional fingers combined.
I was outside, in total, well over an hour.
Tuesday, March 12, 2024
I did not go outside on this night because I was miffed with my visitors. But I knew they were there, and that they would be there the next night.
Wednesday, March 13, 2024 – No images taken
I went out on the deck after dark: the Sentry was there, then the two larger ones, all above, or inland of, the western end of the pond, and well below the horizon. Directly afterward, they started fading away. Then it started to rain.
I was outside, in total, less than 10 minutes.
Thursday, March 14, 2024 – Camera and cell phone
I went out to the kitchen deck at about 1:15 am or a little later. The first video on the 14th was taken with the cell phone at 1:20 am. This 33 second video shows lightning after 5 seconds, and they messed with it at about 27 seconds.
I went inside and came out again at late dusk. I sat in a chair that I had previously placed at the southeastern edge of the pond, facing slightly northeast. Pictures and videos were taken from this chair with the cell phone and the camera. The Sentry and the two larger lights were out. They were mostly over the north bank of the pond. Their colors, size, and numbers varied, but no more than three were seen.
After this prelude, the family unit appeared. With the Nikon on a tripod, I took videos with the camera of the entire family group (the Sentry, the parents, and 6 to 9 kids), which were located on the northern side of the pond, at the middle/middle-east.
I did not get any images of the family unit with the Nikon. Of the videos taken of the family, one was 10 minutes long and entirely black. When viewing this long video, at least 20 times there was a “ding” sound, and once the sound of the shutter.
From memory, I estimate that this group of lights could be blotted out of sight with the first knuckle of my index and the knuckles of three more fingers combined.
April 8, 2024
On this day at 12:45 pm, I went out to the fence line to take measurements and jog my memory. This fence is a typical farm fence, with coated wire instead of barbed wire, and posts every 8 feet. Today, I numbered the posts starting at the east end of the fence. Therefore, each one numbered is 8 feet further west than the one before
After I had been in the chair for a while, I traveled eastward along the east/west fence line, with cell phone in hand. The distance of this fence from the south side of the pond varies, depending on location, from roughly 25 to 50 feet. North of the fence, there is a steep slope to the pond. I took photos and videos with the cell phone of the family group along the way, but they turned out black, or were not on the cell phone to download.
I could see the kids next to the water line on the north side, west of me as I walked the fence. When I reached just east of post 22, the kids were still west of my position, but not by much. At that point, I saw that the parents were no longer lights, but instead distinct discs, headed my way, and becoming larger as they traveled. I went no more than about 5 feet further, then stopped dead in my tracks about 2 feet east of post 23, as I saw that they were then hovering in place within less than 50 feet of me, perhaps as close as 40.
I no longer noticed the kids. However, because a picture was taken of the northwest corner of my property at 8:09 pm and the row of white lights was there again, my supposition is that those white lights were the kids, which had been taken back to that position for safety.
When the discs were at this distance, they appeared almost as though they were two dimensional, and were exceptionally bright red. I could not see the saplings that should have been in front of them when they stopped
I stayed in that location for a second or 3, then starting walking normally to the east. After I had reached about a foot or so west of post 21, I saw out of the corner of my eye that one of the discs had suddenly moved to a position next to the fence, inches east of post 22. It was enormous, about my height (I am 5 foot 7) and just as wide. I was startled into practically jumping to the south about 4 feet, then I immediately rushed northeast back to the fence, and kept up as quick a pace eastward as I could in the dark until I was back in the house.
This behavior was clearly a warning, obviously to protect the little ones, giving credence to my supposition that they were sentient, conscience beings and parents of the kids.
From memory, I estimate that when they were 50 feet away, the individual discs could barely be blotted out of sight with two thumbs combined.
I was outside, in total, over an hour.
Friday, March 15, 2024
4 am: No images taken
I went out onto the wide grass bank between the two ponds. The family group, with only a few smaller lights, were on the north side of the pond, a little further east than the middle. The two larger lights were next to the kids, a bit further south and over the water. The parents then became discs again, not as large as the prior night when 40 or 50 feet away, but did not move from their location. I quickly went back inside. Again, this behavior was protective of the little ones, giving further credence to my supposition that they were sentient, conscience beings and parents of the kids.
From memory, I estimate that this group of lights could be blotted out of sight with the first knuckle of my index and the knuckles of two additional fingers combined.
I was outside, in total, about 8 minutes.
Evening: – Camera and cell phone
I came out onto the kitchen deck after dark, and the Sentry was there before others came, as usual. They were north of the creek. I took videos with the cell phone.
I went inside, and brought out the cell phone and the Nikon on a tripod, with which I headed to the lower deck. They were on the north side of the pond now, a little closer to the northwest corner than the middle. They messed with the camera before it was position to shoot, then slightly backed away, and stayed at this further distance. I took 3 short videos with the camera. I then shut off the camera, put down the phone, and just talked to them. Then the smaller ones appeared, as many as 6 to 9, and the family group came a little closer, but not as close as they were on Monday, Thursday, and Friday in the very early morning.
By their continued presence, it seemed that the kids liked it when I just talked to them. They didn't like my pedantic vocabulary lesson of "table" and "tree," as evidenced by most of them fading away; however, there was a loud noise when I tapped the table, and that may have been a factor. Going back to conversation, some of the smaller ones reappeared. There is no record of either the lesson or this continued conversation. During this time, an owl in the woods north of the East Pond hooted.

I was outside, in total, about an hour.
Saturday, March 16, 2024 – No images taken
I went out onto the kitchen deck at dusk, and there were no red lights on my property. Instead, I saw the two larger ones, again discs, and the Sentry, still a light, clearly above the western horizon, moving west over a neighboring field and at an altitude seemingly about 80 feet. The discs appeared to be much larger than they were when 40 or 50 feet away on Thursday, March 14th. Due to the remaining sunlight from the west, the discs were in their own shadow and appeared brown in color. I went down to the lower deck and sat down at the table. I was despondent, and told them I wished they weren’t leaving.
The three of them returned to their frequent position of being below the horizon and at the western end of the pond a literal second or less later. They did not turn around; they simply changed direction. The discs appeared red again when they were below the horizon, i.e., out of what little remained of the light of dusk. They were smaller than they appeared to have been over the neighboring field, and came towards me over the pond at a relatively slow speed until they hovered over the center of the water halfway or closer to the eastern edge of the pond. Their altitude was high enough above the water to be nearly across from my position on the deck. It immediately became clear to me that they had come back to say goodbye. They stayed there for more than 20 seconds; then, without any extraneous movement, began traveling west once more. Within a literal second or less, they had reached their prior position over neighboring field; almost immediately after that, they disappeared from sight. During their goodbye, I had remained seated in my chair. My manners were inappropriate; I should have said good-bye like a proper host, and I shall always regret that I didn’t.
From memory, I estimate that when they hovered over the pond, the individual discs could almost be blotted out of sight with one thumb.
I was outside, in total, about 10 minutes.
FINAL NOTES:
In the days and weeks that followed, I made the following suppositions based on my observations:
That the two larger lights became discs when they moved (Thursday, March 14th and Saturday March 16th) or prepared to move (Friday, March 15th at about 4am.)
That it was possible that the row of white lights seen in the early morning of March 11th and after my memorable trip down the fence line on March 14th were actually the kids.
That, if they had been aircraft, their speed on Saturday, March 16th, adding (conservatively) 100 feet for the discs reaching nearly the middle of the neighboring field, was more than 837 MPH (1,227.72 total feet, traveled in one second.)
A sonic boom is heard when an object is moving faster than sound, which is 750 MPH.
Between my crude research from NASA and the Air Force, and using my own observations of the visitors, I believe that no sonic boom was created by the discs due to the following factors:
· Per NASA and the Air Force, the weight, size and shape of the aircraft are factors in creating a sonic boom. As the size and weight of the aircraft increases, the intensity of the sonic boom increases. This is because a larger aircraft displaces more air, and a heavier aircraft needs a greater force of lift to sustain flight, thus creating a louder and stronger sonic boom.
As previously mentioned, the discs appeared almost as though they were two-dimensional. My conjecture is that they were neither big enough nor heavy enough to create any perceptible displacement of air.
· Per NASA and the Air Force, the higher the altitude of the aircraft, the further away the sonic boom is heard. A fighter jet flying at supersonic speed will, at 30,000 feet, create a lateral boom spread of about 30 miles.
As previously mentioned, the discs appeared as though they were at an altitude of about 80 feet when moving across the neighboring field, 1,227.72 feet away.
That it could be possible that the “speed” of their movements on March 14th was indicative of a completely different nature of travel than physical objects moving at a defined speed. The huge disc was next to the fence from its prior position almost instantaneously.
That it could be possible that their composition was that which is completely unknown. On April 8th, I saw that there was no damage whatsoever on the saplings between the fence and the pond. Perhaps this means that the one which ended up at the fence literally traveled through the saplings.
